Experience

Louis-Philippe Poulin has research and development experience in inorganic chemistry and energetic materials. As part of his master’s studies at Université Laval, he specialized in the synthesis and characterization of boron-based energetic compounds, as well as in the study of their structure-property relationships.

His research involved developing and optimizing experimental protocols, purifying sensitive compounds, and performing manipulations under inert atmosphere using Schlenk techniques, gloveboxes, and high-vacuum lines.

He completed two internships at Defence Research and Development Canada in Valcartier, where he contributed to projects involving the synthesis and characterization of energetic materials. He joined Kemitek in 2026 as a Scientific Professional.
