Assistance of Bio-Liq in choosing its process technology and setting-up its quality control system

Two Kemitek expert chemists have accompanied Bio-Liq’s team on a technical audit in the USA in order to evaluate, verify and test an innovative technology for the production of biodiesel. This consultation work enabled the on-site evaluation of this technology by exchanging with its conceptor, by observing the process in action and testing it by the collection of samples throughout the process’ key steps. After the testing of the samples, it has been recommended to consider the acquisition of a portion of the proposed technology which presented the real process gain.

Bio-Liq’s team then proceeded in the construction of its manufacturing plant in St-Marc-des-Carrières. Kemitek’s team then helped Bio-Liq in setting-up its quality management system and correcting some problems on a specific test. The knowledge transfer has been done through training of Bio-Liq’s personnel in order to insure the best practices right from the start.
